    Here is what I hope to achieve in May:

    Day job
    – summer 2009 magazine in production
    – weekly timesheet
    – weekly meeting/telephone chat with deputy editor
    – chat with managing editor at least once a week
    – arrange video conferences for rest of year

    Admin
    – prepare and maintain May “done” list as I go along
    – diary work (Jun)
    – update gig list daily
    – deal with correspondence on a daily basis
    – book car in for MOT
    – monthly bill payments
    – monthly finance/budget work

    Writing
    – continue to write every day on The Beast Within
    – update writing blog daily
    – write 2 articles
    – select and print best cuttings for port folio
    – prepare submissions package
    – write 4 query letters
    – 2 ideas/dates sessions

    * Write four new flash/short stories
    * Re-submit any rejected/recalled short stories.
    * Enter at least one writing/poetry competition.

    * Read more contemporary poets, local if possible.

    Editing

    * Stay on top of RR submissions.
    * Complete RR issue 7 for June.

    * Complete amalgamation of web design and freelance writing sites.
